TUTORIALS TO BE HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH IEEE
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED NETWORKS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

[Call For Papers]

ANTS is the premier IEEE forum on networking and telecommunications topics in India and the only conference in India financially sponsored by IEEE Communications Society. IEEE ANTS 2018 will be hosting a series of tutorials sessions for participants.

Proposals are solicited for half day tutorials of duration three hours from domain experts to cover current topics directly relevant to the conference such as (but not limited to):  Smart City applications, Smart management of Smart City, Smart home, Big data and analytics in Smart Cit, Smartphone Networked Apps, Information Centric Networking, Internet-of-Things (IoT) Network, 5G and beyond technologies etc. Proposals should have clear and focused teaching material covering new and emerging topics within the scope of the conference.

Proposals must provide an in-depth survey of a chosen topic with the option of describing a particular piece of work in detail and a meaningful summary of open issues in the topic. Proposed tutorials should be comprehensive, informative, and appealing to the attendees. Each tutorial will be for 3.5 hours with a half-hour break. Tutorial instructors must make a commitment to prepare the tutorial materials (e.g., slides) reflecting high quality standards. All tutorials will be featured prominently in the conference program.

About Tutorials

PROPOSAL FORMAT :

The tutorial proposal (maximum 5 pages) should describe concisely the content, importance and timeliness of the tutorial . It should contain the following sections:

  1. Title of tutorial
  2. An outline of the tutorial content, including its tentative schedule.
  3. Names, addresses, and a short biography (up to 200 words) of the instructors.
  4. A description of the technical issues that the tutorial will address, emphasizing its importance and timeliness.
  5. If appropriate, a description of past versions of the tutorial, including n umber of attendees should be provided.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION:

Submitted tutorial proposal should not exceed FIVE pages and it should be submitted in one all-in-one PDF file. The proposal document should be submitted electronically by email to the tutorial chairs.
